Exceptional Sitters maintains a high level of professionalism when caring for your children. Below are some of the standards and guidelines of service we adhere to, allowing us to provide exceptional service.
- Offer trained and qualified individuals to provide superior care to your children
- Engage your children in age-appropriate games, activities and play
- Prepare and serve meals/snacks as outlined by the parents
- Leave Sitter Reports to provide you with details about the sitting session
- Maintain a high level of client information confidentiality
- Handle emergencies according to prior instructions and training
- Follow parents' guidance surrounding inappropriate behaviours
- Parents provide standard expectations at pre-contact interview and site visit
- Exceptional Sitter are supervised by Exceptional Learning Centre Senior Behaviour Therapists
- We are insured
Exceptional Sitters do not:
- Allow the children's friends or neighbours to visit during the scheduled sitting session
- Leave the premises of the house without prior confirmation with the parents, other than in an emergency
- Provide ABA/IBI programming
- Indicate to neighbours, visitors or callers that the parents are away. Our response is simply "We are helping out"
- Do not allow children in our vehicles. In the event of an emergency, an ambulance will be called to transport to the hospital
- Provide food/candy/edibles to children unless provided by the parents
- Accept bookings unless made through our central office. Centralized bookings only. Call 905.686.4800
